Convento São Francisco de Mértola
Ateliers
These are spacious apartments for artists and guests. They are is located in the original buildings of the Convento. They have a verandas which overlook the Convento grounds, gardens and the big pond where kingfishers, turtles and all sorts of dragonflies can be seen. There are frog concerts every evening.
The Ateliers offers:
- - Living / Working space (50m2)
- - Kitchen, bathroom and double bed sleeping area
- - Direct access to the gardens of the Convento which is a great place for work and leisure
- - Wood burner/stove
- - Rammed earth construction, cool in summer and warm in winter
- - Internet connection
- - Workshop facilities (for artists)
Costs:
- € 55 per night for two persons (minimum stays may apply)
- Self-catering. Breakfast on request.
- Prices are lower for long-term stays and artists-in-residence
