As of September 2002, the cultural and social activities associated with the convent have been integrated into a single, legally recognised body – ‘Entre Dois Rios-Convento São Francisco de Mértola.’
The Association is non-profit making and its principal objectives are to preserve and develop the cultural, environmental and patrimony of the Convento São Francisco.
To become a member of the Association contact the Convento. Benefits include free entrance and participation in activities promoted by ‘Entre Dois Rios.’
